Faerie Glen

I used to love going shopping to town on Saturday afternoons!
We would call by the toy shop & I would be found up the corner browsing all the Tressy & Faerie Glen Fashions.
If I was good (& lucky!) my parents would buy me a Faerie Glen outfit. Boxed Tressy outfits were only for special occasions like Birthdays & Christmas. Sometimes I would save up my pocket money & buy a 'Budget Fashion'.
Now I am paying at least 100 times the price for them......such is life!

Please wait for pictures to load!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Tressy Looks great in this Duffel coat & boots, complimented by a pair of Jodhpurs she has borrowed from Sindy!

JUST A WARNING ABOUT FAERIE GLEN BOXED OUTFITS - THEY WERE SECURED IN THE BOX WITH STICKY TAPE. THIS IS BEST REMOVED IF POSSIBLE AS IT STAINS & LEAVES A RESIDUE ON THE OUTFITS OVER A TIME.
Tressy outfits were 'stitched' onto the cards.

One of my favourite dolls in a Faerie Glen Evening Dress. Little touches like the matching blue ribbon make all the difference when displaying your dolls.

There was a Tressy Wedding Dress called 'June Bride' but she looks just as lovely in these Faerie Glen ones

I love this outfit - Tressy has super legs for an Ice skater!

This is an earlier Faerie Glen Wedding Dress from the late 1970's

This smart brown suit is also Fairy Glen - I would say about 1975.

It was boxed when I had it but it was a good job I de-boxed it as the sticky tape securing the garments had marked them. It was quite 'crusty' so brushed off & the outfit came up like new with a little wash.

The white blouse is from another Tressy outfit & the shoes are modern ones.

I must re-do this pictures when Tressy is not having a bad hair day!

This coat is Faerie Glen & looks great on Tressy

Another Faerie Glen outfit - there were a few variations of this one, she looks elegant doesn't she?

Fantastic Spanish Faerie Glen outfit
Hat & fan embellished & added by me.

{Gold/Black outfit to come here}

Faerie Glen nurses dress - I made the rest of the outfit to complete it.

I originally thought this was a Tressy dress as so many other Tressy collectors had it. Then a boxed one was found and it turns out to be Faerie Glen after all!
